Guns are a type of weapon. They are notable for revolutionizing modern warfare and causing the formation of the NRA. Entire online communities have formed around weapons, focusing on military strategy, gun ownership, or any other aspect of martial technology.
Reconstruction Era isn't exactly a 'weapons community' but there are certain community members who like to discuss military technology. This mostly takes the form of meming old soviet technology in wargame. There's also a fair few cursed guns posted on the discord to freak people out.
