Entire online communities have formed around weapons, focusing on military strategy, gun ownership, or any other aspect of martial technology. Advanced military researchers on ReEra have made new innovations in weapons technology, like amphibious Bradley Fighting Vehicles.
Reconstruction Era isn't exactly a 'weapons community' but there are certain community members who like to discuss military technology. This mostly takes the form of meming old soviet technology in wargame. There's also a fair few cursed guns posted on the discord to freak people out; we used to have a channel called #military_chat solely for posting about warfare.
